Text Box: REGULATIONS:
The Committee will take care of exhibits, but do not hold themselves responsible for loss, damage or detention of exhibits
No exhibitor may have more than two entries in any one class and will not be awarded more than one prize in the same class.
Entry fee is 25p each:  these fees must be paid at time of entry, otherwise no entry will be accepted until such money is paid.
Any exhibitor having entries amounting to £4.00 will be allowed a Subscriber’s ticket to the Show Field.
Articles must be staged by 10:15 a.m.
Exhibits to be competitor’s own work, except in classes 20, 21, 22 and 31.
Any article having previously won a prize at Loweswater Show is debarred.
Articles may not be claimed before 4:00 p.m. on the Show Day and any remaining in the tent after 4:30 p.m. are left at owner’s risk.  Please collect prize money between 4:00 and 4:30 p.m.

The Mildred Chamberlain Challenge Cup will be awarded to the exhibitor gaining most points in the Industrial Section.
 1st Prize 3 pts.,  2nd prize  2 pts., 3rd prize 1 pt.					Mrs. Hilary Nixon.
Mrs. L. Todd will give £2.00 to Winner of Most Points in classes 1 to 83.
Mrs. C. Storr will give a special prize to the runner up.
Mrs. M. Vickers will give £2.00 to the winner of most points in classes 1 to 19.
The Miss M. Hope Cup for Best Exhibit in Knitting.					Mrs. M. Martin
Miss R. Norman will give £2.00 to runner up. 
The Miss Steel Cup will be awarded for the best exhibit in Needlework.		Miss E. McFadzean
Mrs. M. Graham. will give £2.00 to the runner up .
The Margaret Norman Trophy will be awarded for most points in classes 71 to 83.	Mrs. Hilary Nixon
The Pam McCree Trophy to be awarded for the Best Dark Fruit Cake. 		Mrs. Eva Rapley
The Jose Norman Trophy will be awarded for the most points in classes 50 to 64. 	Mrs. Edith Storey
The Palace How Trophy will be awarded for best exhibit in classes 36 to 40. 		Mrs. Anne Richardson
The Mary Tyson Memorial Cup will be awarded to the winner of class 33.		Mrs. C. Pearson
Mrs. D. Nicholson will give £5.00 for best exhibit in Flower Arrangement classes.
A Trophy in memory of Mrs. Jilly Hall will be awarded for most points in Flower Arranging

The Lorton School Cup will be awarded for most points in Children’s classes		Jack Clark
The New House Farm Cup will be awarded for most points in Children’s classes 1 to 5.	Jack Clark

Schedules/entry forms are normally available from July 2008.  However, with the wonders of modern technology, we can give you a sneak preview!  If you would like an entry form and schedule (in July) , please contact Mrs. M. Vickers at the above address.  Alternatively, if your are happy to use the information given below, and would like an entry form only to be e-mailed to you, contact Annette Billinghurst on  show@micnet.plus.comHowever, they should, once completed, be returned to Mrs. M. Vickers for processing.  Thank  you!
